Every two weeks we have the joy of keeping this Portfolio edition Jaguar XJ L beautiful. It's always in good form thanks to it's biweekly cleaning. Having your car washed and waxed at regular intervals saves you from having to spend money on extensive detailing at a later time. Antique VW Karmann Ghia Detailed

In the early 1950s, Volkswagen was focused on producing its economy car, the Type 1 (Beetle). But with an increase in post-war standards of living, executives at Volkswagen proposed adding a halo car to their model range. They contacted German coachbuilder Karmann and Italian design firm Ghia and soon the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia was born. The car was an instant hit; production doubled soon after its introduction and at one point it was the car most imported into the United States.

The Karmann Ghia is a rare sight today so we were delighted to have it in our shop. After  several hours of our careful attention, this vintage beauty came out looking better than it did in 1959.

Many of our clients lead busy professional lives and may not be able to make time for dropping off and picking up their car and may also have a hard time arraning transportation to and from our shop. Classic Porsche Gets Exclusive Treatment

It's always nice to see an older car in good condition. This 1974 Porsche 911S came to us in great form for its age, but its Bali blue paint was starting to dim a bit , which can be expected as time goes on.  Being in the business as long as we have, we've amassed plenty of experience with older vehicles and polishing paint has become second nature to us so we were able to deliver our usual high quality service to this delicate vehicle. Ferrari California Detailed

We've detailed many Ferrari models over the years but this Ferrari California was a beauty. The California represents a number of firsts for the Ferrari brand. It's the first Ferrari hardtop convertible, the first to have direct fuel injection, the first front engine V8, the first with multi-link rear suspension, and the first to feature a 7 speed dual clutch transmission. On top of all that, it's the most aerodynamic Ferrari ever made.

Such an impressive vehicle only deserves the most impressive service, which we had no problem providing. Black cars typically require more work and even closer attention to detail for many reasons. The main reason is that the smallest imperfections always show up very clearly, most things (especially scratches and dust) will appear more distinct on a dark background. Chevrolet Corvette Washed and Tinted

Now that spring and summer are right around the corner, it's a great idea to get the windows on your car tinted. Tinting your windows will protect you and your interior from harsh UV rays and distracting glare. We applied Llumar ATC film to this convertible Corvette, a premium dyed film that keeps your car 33% cooler while reducing glare by 52% and blocking 99% of UVA and UVB rays.

After the application of the film, we proceeded to wash the car inside our indoor washing facility.

Full Detail and Tint on Tesla Model S

We’ve had the pleasure of performing a full detail on a brand new Tesla Model S, a fully electric four-door sedan and the first of its kind in Charlotte. There is great value not often considered in detailing a new car. Detailing a car when it’s new can help it to stay looking new for a longer period of time. For this brand new Tesla Model S, we applied a paint sealant engineered to lock in the new car shine for up to six months.

Along with an interior and exterior detail, we also tinted all the windows to North Carolina legal specifications. Window tinting provides protection for the interior and its passengers from harmful UV rays and annoying glare. We tinted the windows with Llumar CTX 40 film, a light charcoal film that will reject 47% of solar energy (heat) and 99.9% of UV rays while still letting in enough light for you to see your way around the inside of your vehicle.  We use only premium window film and all our window tinting jobs carry a lifetime warranty.

2010 Hyundai Elantra Interior Detail and Odor Removal

We recently received a 2010 Hyundai Elantra in need of a comprehensive interior detail. The car was permeated with a foul odor that could be smelled from three parking spaces away while the doors were closed and all the windows were rolled up. The smell was so strong that I had to use a respirator while working on the vehicle. Along with smelling like something had died in it, the car also had trash all over the interior and there were numerous stains on all of the seats.

The seats were removed to make the interior more accessible for cleaning and then the seats and carpet were misted with a chemical from the grey machine in the pictures below to begin the odor removal procedure.

After that, the seats were steam cleaned with a high power extractor and the liquid that came out of the seats was dark brown and completely opaque.

Since this was a complete interior detail we also cleaned all of the plastics and other interior surfaces such as the glass and roof (headliner). Depicted below are before and after images of the job.

After having some major motor work done at Under Ground Racing this bad boy stopped by for some auto detailing work and to have its windows tinted.

VW, BMW, Mazda Detailing and Window Tinting

This Mazda 3 came into our shop yesterday to have the windows tinted. Garrett has only had his car for five days and stopped by after working the night shift to drop off his car to have the windows tinted. He was not disappointed.

Ted gave his wife’s 2012 VW Passat  TDI a treat by having it detailed preparing it for the winter and also a road trip. I am looking forward to him bringing it back in for scheduled maintenance details and window tinting.

A black car with a black leather interior needs to have the windows tinted to increase solar energy rejection. Brian considered just that and gave us the go ahead to tint the two front windows on his BMW X5 along with getting it detailed inclusive of interior vacuuming, leather cleaning and conditioning, exterior hand washing, and paint polishing to remove hair line scratches. This was followed with a premium paint sealant.

Brian also had his Ford E250 detailed and tinted the previous day. He upgraded the rear windows to a vinyl film that produced a complete black out lending to greater security for his DJ equipment. Brian is the principal for Audiotogodj.com and provides DJ and Emcee services for weddings and corporate functions.
